Message from Dom on his myspace
"Hi,

Yes, The Resistance is on it's way. Out in a few months hopefully. We've just started mixing some tracks and it sounds wicked. Still got a bit more work to do but its coming along nicely.

See you guys soon..

Dom."

Theres a track on the album called "The United States of Eurasia"

and apparently muse will have another track on next Guitar Hero due for release in september

If there was a Manchester gig and tickets weren't so expensive I might have considered it...

playing 2 gigs in Teignmouth on the 4th n 5th sept, 1st time they have played in there home town for 10yrs.
Playing at the Den (10,000 cap, but managed to get it to 15,000)

its a nice 6hr drive for me, but should be worth it in the end.
Album comes out on the 14th sept in loads of different formats
(CD, CD + DVD, Limited Boxset with 2 vinyls a usb stick loaded with 350 tracks + the CD n DVD)

the gig in teignmouth was amazing. the new tracks worked really well with the set. felt like it was a mass sing-along in parts (mainly tracks from black holes)
The Den was a great area to host a gig. although i feel sorry for the people going there 2night.. (the ground was a little muddy n chewed up)

Set List:
1. Uprising
2. Supermasive Black Hole
3. Stockholm Syndrome
4. Resistance (got a catchy chorus)
5. Hysteria
6. New Born
7. Map of the Problematique
8. United States of Eurasia
9. Cave
10. Popcorn (look it up on youtube. had me in stitches)
11. Starlight
12. Undisclosed Desires
13. Time is Running Out
14: Unnatural Selection
------------ENCORE------------
15: Plug In Baby
16. (Man With a Harmonica) + Knights of Cydonia

I wasn't there, but seems quite a short set?? And still missing Citizen! No B&H either... and Cave piano version apparently... I thought Matt hated the song, weird seeing that back!

You're so lucky! I would have gone down if I wasn't totally skint! Sad
Opinions on the new album?

Was also at the O2, not the best Muse gig i've seen but quite spectacular in parts! Matt not playing the piano intro to Newborn was a big fail, on the plus side there was no Feeling Good and they did play MK Ultra and Cave!

I was in standing but those seats behind the stage didn't look the best to be honest!

Wembley tickets on sale Friday for a gig in like 10 months time?! I think i'll wait!

the seats behind were a lot better then i expected to begin with. each time ive seen muse previously ive been standing, and been in the stands give it a different perspective.

New album is the worst out of the lot, but still very good. Got tickets for Wembley next year and I'm sure it'll be brilliant, but won't be as good as they have been in the past.
