|
|
Many apologies to all those who bought tickets to this show on Wednesday 8th June at ‘Night and day’ to come and see The Subways. (please note that Wednesday’s show should never have been billed as a sole Subways headlining show, The band were playing it, alongside 4 other emerging (and signed acts), to show their appreciation to Concrete recordings and Glastonbury for all their help last summer and an on going wonderful support to unsigned bands and emerging talent… )
Concrete recordings will still be putting on 4 fabulous bands (as planned) that night.…Past winners and newly signed artists will be playing…
BlackBud -The Guardian Guide - Track of the week-The Livewire EP - May 28th "...ridiculously talented, playing the sort of thing that people will cling to and hail as "proper" music. The good news is they have great songs and don't sound a bit like Keane or Coldplay. It is our duty to make them famous."
Ralfe Band - Albatross Waltz- “This is one of my favorite records at the moment” - Mark Radcliffe.
Cakeboy - The Guardian Guide "Monstrously Talented live artist"
and this year's Glastonbury unsigned overall winner and current industry darlings 'The Deadbeats.'
(For Concrete Recordings visit www.ConcreteRecordings.co.uk)
As an apology to fans expecting to see The Subways that evening the band have booked in a show on Monday July 11th at the Hop and Grape, Manchester.
On Wednesday 8th, as you enter the venue, your ticket will be exchanged for a new ticket for the 11th July gig ... if you don't want two gigs for the price of one you can return your full unused Wednesday night ticket to the place of purchase for a refund.
Once again apologies for the disruption in schedule and the band look forward to seeing everybody on the 11th July if not before. _________________ Is that you? Is that really you?
